In the summer of 2007, Poking You Tattoo was purchased by Reesa Brown. Under this new ownership, we have an even greater commitment to ensuring that each customer receives the best customer service in the industry. We will of course continue to provide the cleanest environment and the best tattoos and piercings in town. We also have the largest selection and highest quality of body jewelry in the area. We will be expanding our retail jewelry selection in the coming months, so visit our store frequently to see the latest that we have to offer.

Poking You Tattoo is known for its cleanliness and high level of safety in performing all body modifications. We regularly review the regulations of the Texas Department of Health that govern tattoo and body piercing studios so that we are on the cutting edge of compliance. All needles and supplies are single-use -- they are used on one person then immediately disposed of. All other tools are either autoclaved (a sterilizer that uses steam and pressure at 270 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes at 30psi) to ensure sterility, or are otherwise wrapped so that they do not become contaminated with bodily fluids. We do use latex gloves, but non-latex gloves are available on request for customers with allergies.

For initial piercings we use only 316LVM implant-grade surgical stainless steel or implant-grade titanium; our experienced piercers always use properly sized jewelry to ensure healthy healing. Our tattoo artists use only the highest quality ink and pigments that are FDA-approved for use in human skin.
